I had an inexpensive Over and Under I had given my grandson, when i got him into shooting clays. The upper firing pin broke off, and it was unlikely parts were available. Jason remanufactured the firing pin and had the gun ready in 24 hours, and it was done at what seemed to me to be a reasonable price. I was very pleased and it gets my grandson back on the range without much downtime. Thanks a lot Jason!

I've recently had Jason do work on a variety of different firearms. And in the past also and he is fantastic. I also bought a BAR last week from him and it's great as well. If you're searching for a good gunsmith your search is over.

Amazing Service. I took my lever rifle in for a front sight swap and it was done within 5 minutes at an unbeatable price. I would highly recommend Jason as your go-to gunsmith.

Dropped my Remington 1100 off for a repair and within 24 hours I had a call saying it was done. Awesome service and outstanding rates. Great gunsmith in the Ottawa area. Jason can deactived and do work on converted automatics. He can do blueing in house but can't currently do any cerakote yet. He also sells non restricted, restricted and prohibited firearms. Most of the firearms are used or on consignment. He is a honest gunsmith and a great person to deal with. Doesn't have a website or email address. Calling by phone is the best option.

Had an aftermarket choke tube bulge and seize in the barrel of a Benelli. Tried everything but could not get the thing out. He got the choke tube out and saved the barrel and threads. I was able to clean the threads and install factory tubes again. Service was quick and reasonably priced.

Fast and Amazing service. The cost with installation was cheaper then if I purchased the parts directly from the Manufacturer. I highly recommend Jason.

Highly recommend. Jason is professional and to the point. He's installed a rear sight on my handguns twice. The second time around, I tried to have a go at it myself and slightly mangled it, but he was able to fix my mistake. Extremely reasonable prices.

Went there to get my shotgun fixed, was very pleased with the service that Jason provided. The only down is that my part took a while to arrive, but otherwise would definately reccomend this gunsmith.

2016: Had to fix a brocken extractor on a mauser and change rails on a sporter P-14. A bit hectic communications with all the work he has comming his way, but the job was done rapidly and at a very goodp rice. Highly recommended.

He wowed me. He had a perfect match replacement for a broken shoulder plate *on hand* for the butt of a c. 1980s English-Stock Beretta and made that fix on the spot (literally at the counter in front of me, two-minutes tops). Second, he completed metalwork to fix several minor dents on the barrel sight overnight and rang me first-thing the next morning - awesome turnaround. His prices were strikingly fair. As for reviewers who cite 'bad customer service'. He is the expert and the artist - not a Starbucks barista! If you don't waste his time and know what you're talking about, he is a wealth of information and a pleasure to deal with.

All the soft, snowflake, butthurt types whining about "attitude is everything" need to pop a Xanax and grow a thicker skin. You're not shopping dealerships trying to get the best price on a new Prius. Jason might come off as "gruff, abrasive, terse, etc. " but he's very skilled at his CRAFT, extremely busy and is very reasonable with his pricing, timelines and communication. Jason is direct and to the point. GunCo is not a cookie-cutter box store. Be specific in what you want, it's not that hard. In this day and age where salesmanship is more "style" than "substance", in the niche realm of gunsmithing, I'll take my business to GunCo any day of the week.

Said he could fix a shotgun that wasn't feeding properly. Said it was fixed. It still jams. He might have replaced a spring but he didn't fix anything. Did he even put a few snap caps in it and see if it fed? Couldn't have, just said it was fixed and charged the bill.

People seem to forget what business Jason is in and you can ONLY imagine the various types of individuals who come into his shop on a regular basis with firearms. There is no ''attitude'' nor lack of professionalism on his part as some people seem to think in these reviews. He's serious. He has to be. He also happens to be the best. I've been dealing with him since 1998. So to all you whiners and sensitive types, suck it up, buttercup!
